Company Facts

Patrick Sumner and his brother discovered the unique resin formula in Japan over 30 years ago and managed to secure the worldwide rights.  They initially set up a business making finished glass panels and supplying into the glass industry.   The first formulation resins were applied using a pressure pot and gun.  This was time consuming but effective and Creative Resins still have in their head office 2 panels made using the original resin formula applied with the pot and gun.   These panels have remained completely UV stable with the resin outline and colours still as good as the day they were made.

It was agreed that the making of panels was not allowing the company to reach its full potential and limiting sales to the UK market only.   Some 20 plus years ago the decision to launch the resins and the original application method into the European market – the rest as they say is history.

Creative Resins now has application machines in over 60 countries worldwide with a large distributor and customer base.  The Resins and machinery have an unravelled reputation throughout the many different industries where the machines and resins are used including the glass, kitchen, bathroom, furniture and sign.  All Creative Resins products have a proven solid background and the company a reputation for quality, service and reliability.

The R & D side of Creative Resins is constant with huge investments made to constantly keep up with market trends and develop new products and all the Creative Resins customers know that any new products from the Creative Resins team comes with the guarantee of quality.  All our products are tested and have full test reports giving 10 year plus external warranties on resins and 2 years on machinery.

As the company and products have grown there have been several attempts for “copy” versions all of which strive to keep up with the innovations from Creative Resins some of these imitations are of very poor quality and fail very quickly.  You cannot put a price on quality and years of experience  – Cheap is not best

Patrick  has spent many years updating the resins and we are now on our 9th generation  and the sophisticated application systems available today. There have also been many new products launched Creative Resins continues to grow both in strength and  Creative Resins remains undoubtedly the market leaders.
